Hack My Apple TV

How To Download And Install SuperRepo Add-Ons Update 2017

Install the Most Comprehensive Add-On Repo for Kodi (XBMC)

Access Free New Release Movies and TV Shows and Stream Live Television

Gaining access to free movies and television has never been easier for users of XBMC, now called Kodi. Kodi can be installed on pretty much any device running an operating system. One of the most popular systems for running the new Kodi is by hacking your Apple TV, installing a lightweight Linux operating system such as OpenElec or CrystalBuntu, and then subsequently installing Kodi to turn your awesome Apple hardware into one of the most powerful media centers ever! Of course, the real power of Kodi lies in it’s ability to add 3rd party plugins called add-ons. These add-ons, such as 1Channel and Icefilms, give users access to literally millions of movies and television shows, streamed to their Apple TV, absolutely Free.

The largest source of Add-Ons is contained in SuperRepo which you can download and install through your Apple TV running Kodi. Please note, this will work on any device running Kodi, or XBMC.

Step 1: Add the source for downloading and installing SuperRepo. Go to System>File Manager>Add Source>

Step 2: You will now add the source of the SuperRepo.zip file that you will install. Click on the top field that says <None> and enter http://srp.nu/ and click Done. Next, select the field on the bottom to enter a name for this media source. You can name it whatever you want, however SuperRepo makes the most sense. Click Done and then click OK. Your source is now added and you’ll see it in the A and B root list. Click the Home Icon at the bottom of your screen to return to the main menu.

Step 3: Now navigate to System>Settings>Add-Ons>Install from zip file you should see the name of the source you just added, in this case SuperRepo. Select the source and the new window should have three folders, Frodo, Gotham and Helix. These are the most recent versions of XBMC and Kodi. Helix is Kodi, Frodo and Gotham are XBMC versions. Select the correct folder. In the next window select the ‘all’ folder and then select ‘download-this-repo.zip’ and click OK. SuperRepo will install and you’ll see a confirmation in the lower right hand corner once it’s installed.

UPDATE 2016 for Kodi Isengard

Go back to your home screen and navigate to System>Settings>Add-Ons>Install From .zip file

A side browser will appear on the right side. Open SuperRepo>Isengard>All>superepo.kodi.isengard.all-0.7.04.zip

SuperRepo will install and you’ll see a confirmation in the bottom right corner of the screen once it’s completed.

Now select Install from Repository>SuperRepo All[Isengard][v7]>Video add-ons

You’ll now see a very long list of Add-Ons to plug into Kodi.

For Helix, Gotham and older Kodi installations follow the steps below

Step 4: Now that SuperRepo is installed, you can install your first Add-On to start accessing tons of movies and television shows. From the same screen above, select Get Add-Ons and on the next screen select SuperRepo. On the next screen select Video Add-Ons and then navigate to IceFilms and select it.

Now that you have IceFilms installed you can search and browse through more movies and television shows than you could watch in your lifetime. This is one of the top plugins to use on Kodi and for a lot of people it’s the only add-on they use. IceFilms is one of the only add-ons that separates and labels HD videos from SD videos. This is especially helpful if you’re trying to stream over a slower wi-fi connection. While an HD stream will certainly be better in quality, sometimes over a slow connection you can encounter annoying buffering issues that start and stop playback over and over. Selecting an SD version will often fix this issue and allow for a smooth viewing experience.
